Honoring Dr. Keith Fairchild

Thank you so much for your support of the Keith Fairchild Endowment for Financial Excellence! Not only was $5,000 matched, but 40 alumni donors stepped up to give. Because of your hard work to meet the goal, our participation challenger has decided to give the additional $5,000.

That brings our grand total raised to $35,110.

This means a larger scholarship for a deserving College of Business graduate student. THANK YOU!

Recognizing Keith Fairchild, associate professor of finance, UTSA College of Business faculty have raised $14,325 to establish the Keith Fairchild Endowment for Financial Excellence. Now, the college is inviting alumni and friends to contribute to this fund in honor of Fairchild. Joining UTSA’s faculty in 1982, Fairchild has taught virtually every course offered in finance and served as the inaugural chair of the department from 2001-2007. “I’m honored that my colleagues established this fund to honor my service,” he said. “I’ve valued my career as an educator, and I enjoy working with both my colleagues and students.” The endowment will be used to recognize outstanding doctoral student teaching.
