COS has awarded over 21,500 science degrees! That’s more
people than we could fit in the Frost Bank Center where the San Antonio Spurs

Health San Antonio, Northside ISD, and Southwest Research Institute, just to
name a few.

In our college, students and faculty collaborate to tackle
some of society’s most difficult problems. With around 300 actively funded
research projects in areas like brain health, infectious disease, AI, and more,
we’re on the forefront of life-changing discoveries. Our contributions are
making a difference in the fight against diseases like cancer, Alzheimer’s,
malaria valley fever and more.
