The mission of the UTSA Monarch and Milkweed Team is to educate the San Antonio and Bexar County community about what they can do to promote monarch butterflies. We are not only conducting research across the State of Texas to determine the status of milkweed and monarchs, but we are also establishing a 7-acre pollinator garden, living laboratory and educational center. We want everyone to know that they can do things in their backyard or patio to help monarch butterflies.
A butterfly pavilion will provide educational space for visitors to the garden as well as shade for our hard-working volunteers.
Will you help the pavilion come to life with a gift today?
