A lot has changed at UTSA in fifty years. What was once 600 undeveloped acres has now grown to be a home for 32,000 students with thirty buildings across four campuses, 17 NCAA Division I athletic teams, and a network of more than 126,000 alumni worldwide. None of this would be possible without the help of alumni like you who paved the way for Roadrunners today and continue to work hard to represent UTSA.
One thing that hasn’t changed is the focus on student success. Even before the first students enrolled, every decision made was to bring world-class public higher education to San Antonio.
Today you can make a difference for students in your college. The students in College of Engineering are following in your footsteps as Roadrunners. This year, the College of Engineering is asking you to support the Student Success Center for student organization grants. Being involved in a student organization at UTSA gives Roadrunners the chance to apply what they learn in the classroom to hands-on experience. Many of the organizations in the college require travel and materials to fully participate. Whether students are building a solar-powered racecar or researching for their senior design project, the Student Success Center aims to support all aspects of a UTSA education.
