A lot has changed at UTSA in fifty years. What was once 600 undeveloped acres has now grown to be a home for 29,000 students with 30 buildings across four campuses, 17 NCAA Division I athletic teams, and a network of more than 126,000 alumni worldwide. None of this would be possible without the help of Roadrunners like you who paved the way for students today and continue to work hard to represent UTSA.
One thing that hasn’t changed is the focus on student success. Even before the first students enrolled, every decision made was to bring world-class public higher education to San Antonio.

Today you can make a difference for students following in your footsteps as Roadrunners. This year, the College of Sciences is asking you to support student success through such initiatives as the UTSA Gardens.
The gardens will serve as an experiential learning space for Roadrunners as well as students of all ages from San Antonio schools to learn about the importance of preserving and sustaining our planet. The space will give students in the College of Sciences a chance to research and teach others about the Edwards Aquifer and our access to clean, safe water, pollinators critical to our food supply and wildlife management to better preserve and restore native Texas ecosystems.
Your support for student success also helps the College of Sciences provide more than 60 scholarships to students annually.
