A lot has changed at UTSA in fifty years. What was once 600 undeveloped acres has now grown to be a home for 32,000 students with thirty buildings across four campuses, 17 NCAA Division I athletic teams, and a network of more than 126,000 alumni worldwide. None of this would be possible without the help of Roadrunners like you who paved the way for students today and continue to work hard to represent UTSA.
One thing that hasn’t changed is the focus on student success. Even before the first students enrolled, every decision made was to bring world-class public higher education to San Antonio.

Today you can make a difference for students in your college. The students in Honors College are following in your footsteps as Roadrunners. This year, Honors College is asking you to support experiential learning opportunities.
The UTSA Honors College houses one of the most experiential honors-college curriculum in the nation. We require our graduates to have at least five signature experiences. While students can complete these through courses, we also encourage our students to be entrepreneurial, to design their own experience or to take advantage of opportunities at UTSA, in San Antonio, or beyond. Students complete these requirements through engaging in service, completing internships, performing research, studying abroad, etc.
These activities and the like help our graduates to meet the Honors learning outcomes: creative courage, adaptability and resilience, project management, agency through accomplishment, communicating effectively, intellectual dexterity, team-based and independent decision-making, intercultural confidence, ethical reasoning, and self-reflection and awareness.
