The Project
The UTSA Swim Club has qualified for the Southwest Swim League Championships! Our hard work and dedication has paid off. The championships will be held in Richardson, Texas at The University of Texas in Dallas. We must fundraise in order to afford the competition registration fees and travel expenses, including gas and hotel rooms. It is our goal to finish in the top five in both the championship meet and in the overall league. Any additional funds raised will be used towards next year’s competition costs.
Who We Are
Roadrunner Swimming is a group of competitive swimmers that come together to exercise, train, and compete against other schools in and around Texas. In our 2015 Southwest Swim League Championship, we ended up placing 3rd out of 13 groups. We placed 4th out of 13 groups in the overall league. With your donation, we can return to Championships this year and bring home a win for UTSA.
The Impact
Our successful participation at this meet will bring further recognition to our university. Roadrunner Swimming provides students with the opportunity to stay healthy and advance their athletic ability while teaching leadership and teamwork skills.The goal of our organization is to promote a fun way for UTSA students to stay in shape and provide them an opportunity to build a bond with other students that will last forever.

Our goal is to better ourselves as individual racers and as a team. Your gifts motivate our members to improve their technique and speed while encouraging them to achieve success. With your help, we will be able to test the progress and improvement of our individual and team skills at the 2016 Southwest Swim League Championship meet.
