Thank you for your support of Black Student Initiatives at UTSA! Every gift has a lasting and positive impact on students for years to come.
At $20,000 raised, we are only $5,000 away from our initial goal: to create a named endowment to support Black Student Initiatives. Not only would this endowment be a permanent source of support for the Black student body, but it would also honor Mrs. Karla Broadus, a long-standing faculty member and mentor to so many of us. Mrs. Broadus has been a pillar of the Black community at UTSA since 1996 and is an inspiration to students, faculty, and staff alike.

Your past support has made a difference and we wanted to let you know about an upcoming opportunity to further your impact. The inaugural UTSA Giving Day starts Tuesday, April 6 at 10:11 a.m. CDT, and Black Student Initiatives is going to be featured as one of the projects!
For 1969 minutes—or 32 hours and 49 minutes—UTSA is celebrating generosity and raising funds for many of the great initiatives and opportunities happening at UTSA. There will even be challenges set by other UTSA supporters that give you a chance to amplify your gift to Black Student Initiatives.
You have until April 7 at 7 p.m. to participate.
