About Us

The Coed and All-Girl competitive cheerleading teams at The University of Texas at San Antonio perform at all home football, volleyball, and men’s and women’s basketball games as well as select away games and hundreds of community events.  Whether on the turf, court, or mat, we play an integral role in developing spirit, pride, and tradition at UTSA.

Our Project

While many college cheerleading programs at our level have three or more sets of uniforms, we only have one set and it’s in its fourth year of use. 

Just like other athletic teams, we take our performance seriously and push each year to be better than ever—we need YOUR help in purchasing new uniforms to expand our image and bring a fresh new look to UTSA Athletic events. 

Why Contribute

Roadrunner fans enjoy watching UTSA Cheer bring sprit to athletic events, but most don’t realize that we do not receive the same funding that other athletic teams do.

Become a part of our UTSA family and let us know that you believe in us! No donation amount is too small and all donors will receive the following benefits:

1. Membership in the Roadrunner Athletic Fund
2. A vote in the design of our new uniform

Your contribution to The University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunner Athletic Fund is 20% benefits eligible and tax deductible up to 80% as allowed by law.
