Support the College of Business Bridge the Gap Scholarship
A lot has changed at UTSA in fifty years. What was once 600 undeveloped acres has now grown to be a home for 32,000 students with thirty buildings across four campuses, 17 NCAA Division I athletic teams, and a network of more than 126,000 alumni worldwide. None of this would be possible without the help of Roadrunners like you who paved the way for students today and continue to work hard to represent UTSA.
One thing that hasn’t changed is the focus on student success. Even before the first students enrolled, every decision made was to bring world-class public higher education to San Antonio.
Help us celebrate 50 years of student success!
Today you can make a difference for students in your college. The students in the College of Business are following in your footsteps as Roadrunners. This year, the College of Business is asking you to support a new scholarship. The Bridging the Gap Scholarship will support high-performing undergraduate students who are pursuing a College of Business degree, but who are faced with the difficult decision to leave the program due to a lack of financial resources to pay tuition.
Will you make a gift today to support the UTSA College of Business?
In Fall 2017, UTSA welcomed 820 first-time freshmen pursing business. One year later, 50 students from the 2017 cohort had a UTSA GPA of 3.0 or higher and did not return to UTSA. The University implemented a call campaign and reached out to those students to understand why they had not registered for the next term. If confirmed what the research tells us—many students drop-out because of financial reasons.
