Match Dollar for Dollar for a Laredo Scholar!
Approximately 70% of UTSA students rely on financial aid such as scholarships. Until August 1, the UTSA Alumni Association will match alumni donations so that seven Roadrunners from different cities can each receive a $5,000 scholarship.
Will you help us raise $35,000 for Roadrunner scholarships by making a gift today? Whether you donate $25, $50, or $100—together all gifts make an impact.
What Your Gifts Will Do
Your gift increases the likelihood of a student’s success. Students with scholarships experience less financial stress compared to students who need to work while going to college. They can spend more time studying and completing their degree, making it more likely to graduate on time. Plus, they can be involved in student organizations, volunteer, and invest time in networking in their area of study.
Annual scholarships will be awarded to the seven students beginning fall 2017. Your gift will give a highly-qualified Laredo scholar the aid they need to be successful at UTSA, which will help with the cost of tuition, housing, books and other necessities.

Don’t see your city on the page?
The seven cities and regions were selescted based on the high number of UTSA alumni living in those areas. Some of the areas also have a UTSA Alumni Association chapter.
We know there are proud Roadrunners everywhere! If you live outside of the areas listed, we encourage you to support the goal for San Antonio—after all, UTSA will always be home.
What will happen if we raise less/more than $2,500?
Every dollar you give will be matched up to $2,500. That means if your city raises $2,000, the Alumni Association will award a $4,000 scholarship to a student from your city.
Any funds raised in excess of $2,500 will be designated to the Alumni Association Scholarship Fund to be awarded to additional UTSA scholars.
