The mission of the Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design is to provide outstanding education and research opportunities and service to our region’s multicultural community, the nation and beyond. The college is a major public provider of undergraduate and graduate engineering education in South Texas with an enrollment exceeding 3,400 students, and one of the top colleges for producing the most Hispanic engineers nationwide. It has seen an unprecedented increase of more than 100% in graduate enrollment over the past few years.
